Photos from an Elmo and Dorothy Themed Birthday Party
The photos are in! The Elmo and Dorothy (Elmo’s Fish) themed birthday party went off without a hitch this weekend! Well, the cake did threaten to melt in the heat and the candle went a bit wobbly, but that was a very small hitch.
The party was for Jude who turned 3 this weekend, and was thrown in their backyard. The color palette for the party is shown in a previous post, so check it out here. I also designed and made the invitations posted here. Primary colored balloons and circle paper banners dotted their yard lined with inflatable fish. All the red balloons had Elmo’s face on them to mimic the invitation. The kids all had fun making mini stained glass windows at the craft table and playing Pin the Tail on the Fish as well. Beta fish were handed out as favors and Jude’s favorite- Tacos and chips were served! The birthday boy received a new aquarium and and “the good fish” as his birthday gift and I have never seen a child more excited about his gift then he was when he got his fish that day. So cute. This is the first of hopefully two sets of photos, so more should be posted in the next week or so.
